Endorsement Criterion
When endorsing candidates, we uphold the highest professional standards and employ rigorous techniques to carefully evaluate all candidates fairly. Our focus is on races where the KCFDW endorsement and subsequent efforts can truly make a difference and drive transformative change. In assessing candidates for elected office, we consider the following criteria:
- Demonstrated expertise, a proven track record, and notable achievements relevant to the position sought,
- Unwavering integrity and ethical conduct,
- Strong consistent advocacy for the rights of all people and in particular with a focus on the most vulnerable members of our communities,
- Fearlessly embracing leadership roles with a forward-thinking mindset,
- Recognizing the paramount importance of human health, safety, and opportunities in fostering a prosperous society.
We are steadfast in our commitment to endorsing candidates who embody these principles.
KCFDW carefully selects races for endorsement, taking into account strategic considerations. Due to our thorough research, analysis, documentation, and endorsement writing process, we may not be able to accommodate every race.
